Wednesday's Answer:
Driving into work this morning showed a busy town as the kids are back in school and the early morning traffic ramps back up. It's nice to see all of the hussle and bussle of students getting back to see their classmates and new teachers, it has a great energy to it.
One nice thing about the summer (aside from Rosé season) is that moving around town in the morning is a bit easier since there are no busses or parents dropping kids at school. But, The summer vacations have ended and that signals a turn in season here in the notheast and soon we will wrap up the peak of rosé season for another year. There will still be some on the rack year round but our selection of 125+ has dwindled to 70 or so and by the end of the weekend there will be a few less.
It has been a great year for the wondeful summer quaffs and I think it is safe to say that summer 2013 is the year that Rosé went mainstream. They have been building radiply for the past decade but the jump in popularity was most evident this year. History will likely show that this season had the single biggest jump in sales.
Ok, lets not drag on...
Yesterdays answers were started by Jackie (....) Beyerly and her answer was "Black Rock Turnpike....now I am hungry after seeing Mac Daddy's and Country Cow." Good answer Jackie, we'll take it.
Kevin (Hubby) Beyerly said "I agree with the wife! And then there were two.." Well, actually there are two after today. Friday will end the week but our final post for the promotion coincides with Labor Day on Monday. BTW, It is a good idea to agree with the wife. Well done
Susan L. Melcher chimed in next and cooberated the previous guesses when she put up "Black Rock Turnpike. My office is across the street in White Birch Plaza." Thanks Susan!
Mark (Gotcha again) Beyerly was up next and caught us again... "BRT - primarily, but isn't Fairfield Woods LIbrary on Fairfield Woods Road?" and of course the answer is yes. In our defense, we are showcasing areas or sections of fairfield so techinically..., lets just go with "in the area of" and say close enough. He finished his answer with "Oh - and I like the Triennes - have enjoyed a couple of those this summer....." Me too Mark!
The final post was put up by Chefmichaelatyourservice who posted "Lower Black Rock Tkpe." We'll so correct! Thanks Chef
I love the rock man that Renzo added to this collage, does anyone know its story?
