Wine Tasting And/or Beer Tasting 4 - 7pm Friday, Nov 22

You host is Jim Morrison of Artisan Wines Featuring Oregon wines

Belle Pente Chardonnay 2009    $35.99
ur 100% Estate Grown Chardonnay comes from a little 2 acre parcel planted in 1999 on a steep southwest facing slope with rows running up & down the hill from north-east to south-west.  These vines have produced very compelling wines for the past several years, and this 2009 version is no exception.  If you've had our Chardonnay in the past, you know what we're talking about.  If not, it's time to give it

Belle Pente Pinot Noir 2010    $41.99
This "flagship" Pinot from our Belle Pente Estate vineyard gets better and better every year as the vines reach maturity.  In this vintage, the grapes came from 7 of our 8 blocks of Pinot, all of which were over 12 years old.   About half the blend was a melange of the newer Dijon selections (113, 114, 115, and 777), with one third Pommard, and the balance Wadensvil.  This mix of the "old" and "new" clones has proven to be a harmonious combination producing complex, complete wines in warm and cool vintages alike.  The total is always more than the sum of the parts.

McKinlay Pinot Noir 2012    $19.99
A classic Pinot Noir from Oregon! Filled with currant and summer cherry aromas that follow through on the palate, silky tannins, and balanced acidity, this juicy wine is meant for the dinner table or the cellar. Perfect with cranberry-sauced turkey, roast goose, and mushroom quiche

Kelly Fox Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir 2010    $59.99
Made using fruit sourced from 40-year-old vines, this elegant and detailed Pinot Noir does not shy away from flavors of leaf and herb. But they are anchored in pure and expressive fruit, with old-vine flavors of bramble and pepper. What is most exceptional is the delicacy and length of this wine, two characteristics shared by all of the Kelley Fox wines.

Your host is the rep from Narragansett.

Lager                           $5.29/6pb
This beer is brewed just right for drinking—crisp and refreshing. It’s got more flavor than other premium lagers, yet it’s one of the most drinkable beers in the world. Narragansett has the highest rating of all domestic premium lagers on BeerAdvocate.com, and received the bronze medal for American Lagers at the 2008 World Beer Cup. 2010 Gold Medal winner in the lager category at the 14th annual Great International Beer & Cider Competition in Providence, RI.

Bohemian Pilsner        $9.29/6pb
We are pleased to offer you this Bohemian-style pilsner, a craft-brewed tribute to the original lager. Our Bohemian Pilsner delivers an enjoyable malt profile with flavorful, aromatic hop characterisitics from Nothern Brewer and Hallertau hops.

Cream Ale                   $8.99/6pb
This is the perfect lawn-mower beer. Our cream ale was brewed with an ale yeast and lagered at 38 degrees for a clean, crisp finish.  This beer is clean, flavorful, light, and crisp, making it a real thirst quencher. It’s an ode to beers of a forgotten age, when things were just a bit slower…and some would say a little bit better. You’ll really enjoy the supreme drinkability of this beer, whether you’re mowing the lawn or mowing down duckpins at the local lanes.
