Tasting notes: A gorgeous pale salmon color. Amber red fruit and strawberry notes wrap around the rocky mineral core. Fresh and vibrant. Enjoy with grilled fish and of course, sunshine.
Varietals: Pinot Noir
Region: loire Valley, France
Tuesday's answer:
Ian Merriss was in within a couple of minutes of the posting of yesterday's clue and correctly answered "Fairchild Wheeler" Ian's answer was quick and to the point. I thought we were in for a energized day of all of our local Golf enthusiasts confirming his answer or jumping in with other ideas. Sad to say, it felt like a Monday at work and there wasn't much more action after that. Chef was out in the world somewhere but didn't stop by and many of our usual players remained quiet. Was it the heat?
Finally, later in the day Mark (The Putter) Beyerly was able to break away from the rigors of his day and add a second answer when he said " Fore! Looks like a nice spot along the practice green." Let's hope he isn't out on the Putting Green hollering "Fore" and smacking the ball around. I don'tr think many would find it alot of fun.
Ok, lets see if yesterday was just one of those hot and quiet days or if it was the subject matter. Today we have a similar type of photo up. How many will get involved today?
