Rosé of the day - Wednesday July 10, 2013

Chateau Ollieux Romanis Corbiers Rosé 2012

 Varietals: 55% Grenache Gris – 35% Cinsault – 10% Mourvèdre

Region: Corbiers, France

Menu: Try with a garlicky calamari salad, bourride (fish stew thickened with aoli) or roast herbed chicken.

Tuesday's answer:
Ask and you shall receive.
While the temperature has not exactly plummeted, the edge seems to have come off of the stifling heat from the weekend and it is a bit more bearable. Now they are calling for rain, gotta love New England weather :)

Lets get into the answer from yesterday where the good chef got us going...  Chefmichaelatyourservice - "My 1st thought was Zera's Musicland on the Post Rd., but I don't think it's there anymore. I think it's another realitor's office now. I will keep thinking though..." and then a few minutes later he popped back by to re-up with "Perhaps Fry's Piano on Black Rock Turnpike." That is the right answer chef. BTW, Jan tells me that the other store that you were originally thinking of is still a music store but it is under another name now. Maybe someone can confirm that (talking to you Mark).

Peggy O'Leary was the second player with and answer and confirmed the chefs guess when she put up "Fry's absolutey..Post Road". So now we have two addresses, Post rd. and Black Rock Tnpk, By now you know that Mark (a___ retentive) Beyerly was climbing the wall wanting to get out the red pencil and fix it. He has seen by now that Peggy is my mom so how to approach her address issue was going to be tough. I sat back and watched for hours waiting to see how he was going to handle this one. There was surely a therapist involved because when he did put up his answer it was about as diplomatic as it could have been...
"You can pick up your piano and some fresh oysters all in the same neighborhood. Got to love our town!"

Both statements are 100% accurate, The Black Rock Oyster Bar and Grill is right next door to Fry's and we do have a town that you "Got to love". Oysters aren't the only food in the neighborhood though. Lets see how everyone does today!
