Port, Sherry, and Madeira Class
Following on the heels of or "Dry wines of Portugal" class, we now look at their more famous counterparts, "Port Wines" which include both Rubies and Tawny's. Join us as we make sense of both of these categories and offer explaination to what Vintage, LBV, Single Quinta and Ruby have in common and how and why they are different from the Tawny's, 10yr, 20yr and beyond. For only the second time at Harry's Wine School we will offer a comprehensive presentation of perhaps the greatest fortified wines in the world. This is a two-week, in-depth exploration of Port, Sherry, and Madeira. Be ready to learn all about the venerable winemaking processes and unique barrel aging procedures of these wines, and then taste a variety of their different styles.
