Rosé of the day - Monday June 10, 2013

Domaine de L'Abbaye Rosé 2012 $16.99

Tasting notes: Pale, dry, rich in flowery bouquet and elegant
Varietals: Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre

Region: Côtes de Provence - Cru Classé, France

Menu: is equally at home when served with traditional Provencal and Mediterranean specialties, Asian dishes or contemporary fusion food. In fact, it is an ideal partner for the way people want to eat these days, and is a source of genuine easygoing pleasure.

Friday's answer: Friday we had a pair of correct answers put up. First Mark (Emeril Lagasse) Beyerly "Bam"... chimed in with his typically precise answer or in this case not so precise. St Thomas after all in not just on the Post road but on the corner of Post & Ruane, not that I want to be picky. Followed by Chefmichaelatyourservice who also came up with the right answer and of course that was St. Thomas Aquinas Church. If you missed our Saturday post, you missed that Mark was in over the weekend with his family and revealed that he has weaknesses that we will now exploit! Your are in trouble Mr. Beyerly, just you wait...
This week is dedicated to Dad so put your thinking caps on as we jump around a bit and try to find things that are a bit more related to our fathers and this coming weekend.
