Wine Tasting - Saturday 1-4, November 7

Your Host Michael Kane of
 Rosenthal Wine Merchant

Lucien Crochet Sancerre Rose 2014 . . . $32.99
This salmon hued Sancerre Rosé offers a knockout nose of berries, flowers and earth; on the round, supple palate it echoes the red berries and earth, adding spice and a nice minerality.

Cheveau Macon Chaintre 2014 . . . $22.99

Aged in stainless steel on the fine lees for eight months before undergoing a light filtration at the moment of bottling, the Macon-Chaintré “Le Clos” is consistently marked by notes of citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit) with a lively acidity, fruit blossom aromas, and excellent balance.

Fenouillet Beaumes De Venise Terres Blanche 2012 . . . $16.99
Garnet with purple glints. An intense and complex nose with fruit brandy (plum & cherry) which slowly gives way to toasted almonds. Then come aromas of garrigue, cassis and peppery notes. A wine with silky tannins that remains soft, fresh and drinkable.

De Forville Barbera D'Alba 2014. . . $15.99
Bright and deep ruby red with notes of fresh fruit, blackberry, jam, spicy and toasted aromas. Full and round, with balanced acidity and freshness.
