Wine Tasting - Saturday 1-4PM, Nov 1

Your host is Alain Blanchon of Alain Blanchon Selections.
Pollier Pouilly Fuisse 2012    $21.99
The first nose presents delicate apple blossom and Asian pear aromas with notes of white flowers and roasted almonds. The palate reveals elegance and balance with interplay between the citric, apple and mineral tones. The finish is superb in refinement and complexity.

Lauriol 2010                   $14.99
This velvety dark berry infused wine possesses a touch of leather, smoke and cassis fruit. Very good concentration here, with the subtle sneaky tannins that give structure through to its smooth finish.

Thevenot Hauts Cotes de Nuits Les Renardes 2010             $19.99
This has the classic Pinot Noir nose of ripe red berries with some darker hints of blackberry and spice.  Great mouth feel, good structure, and a smooth texture all balanced with perfect acidity.

Philippe Leclerc Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Champeaux 2010                $79.99
The berry-fruit aromas are quite pretty, almost a redcurrant preserve. Relatively round with penetrating acidity and high-toned red fruit flavours.
