Smart Phone

This is pretty cool! The picture on the left is a wine we carry in 750ml and 1.5l (pictured is the 1.5), I found out, not too long ago that there is this new technology out there that allows your smart phone to scan this "QR Code" (pictured top right of label) to get all kinds of info about it! We tried it and couldn't believe that when you scan the box it will tell you the vintage, grapes, region, even accolades it received. It turns out that the app is free and the info you need for your smart phone is available on our blog by clicking the "smart phone" tab. Harry's has always had a great staff to work with but now we'll have to step up our game if we want to keep up with the options for information that are out there now and into the future. I guess the best thing to say is that there is nothing like human interaction no matter what the technology brings. To talk with someone that truly has a passion for their craft, to see that passion in their eyes as they tell you what they love can't be duplicted by a cellphone or a computer screen. Nevertheless it is an awesome tool for the box and if you haven't been exposed to it yet, consider this an invitation to check it out.
Special thanks to a loyal customer of ours, John Desmond, who set up and continues to be a great source of information for our new blog. John put QR codes on our pages that allow you to find our blog, our website, telephone # and even find a map to the store, really good job by him. He is also the owner of Tr-EM (Trend Empowered Marketing) and we're appreciative to him for all of his help. Check out his website (link at the bottom of the blog) for more info. on how he can help you too.
